Bonjour!
Sometimes, when I read over my posts I think that I talk too much. So today, I wanted to give you the chance to talk. Don't worry, I'll listen. I'm all ears...
mmmm....
hmmm.. mmmm....
Yeah.....
I totally understand...
oh!
wow....
I know! Right?
That really was a great conversation. It was nice speaking to you!
Anyways, now that I am guilt free, I can write about what I really want to write about.
Today, I carpooled home from school with a few friends. One of the friends that was dropped off happened to live across the street from our elementary school, and she mentioned (in a gloating fashion), that she was going to go inside to visit, and obviously we all got out of the car and joined her, because, well, I really wanted to go inside!
It was so strange to walk into my old school. It was seriously so weird. It was so familiar, and yet so alien at the same time. Walking in felt like "woah, this is different", but after walking around a bit more it felt like we'd never left.
It was the same thing with seeing my teachers, it was as if I'd seen them only yesterday, and yet it felt like I'd last seen them years ago. It felt so strange to walk around the school and remember all of the things I did and where I did them. I remembered strange things like skipping in the cafeteria, playing hide-and-go-seek with Gigi and Tulsi, and sitting in front of Mr. Hoffman's desk in math. I remembered things like standing back stage for a dance number in the show and getting a splinter, and tripping over Rai's purposely outstretched foot in Math? No, was is Language Arts? Was it Science? Oh, no, it was all 3! It was so weird... So Weird.
Mr. Hoffman said that we'd only been gone a few months, but it seems like an entire lifetime ago.
Really quickly, before I have to stop, I just have to say that the Imagine Dragons are a brilliant band, and you should listen to them. Or not. Your loss.
Wow, I'm really tired, and I still have to read The Odyssey.

I had so much to write about, and I've forgotten it all.

I saw your messages on our board! We kept the ones where you and Celeste wrote your names in the little corner! I felt like your ghosts were still floating around the classroom... (is that too creepy?) We had a good laugh at Javas's, too. Your ghosts lasted until Spanish. Adios!

We had a bet with Javas that ours would stay up the longest. I'm guessing we won!
